CCB News Issue 14

Hello, everyone! It’s been a while since we’ve talked, right? Possibly, you are all aware that my latest book – GHOST IN THE CUPBOARD (SILAS ERIE PARANORMAL COZY #1) – was released on Friday, February 13th, 2026. I’m going to share some information about it in this newsletter. Also, I’ll be telling you a little bit about my next book – BANG BANG HE SHOT HER DOWN (HEAD ROCK HARBOR MYSTERY #4) – which comes out Friday, March 13th, 2026. Additionally, I’m going to throw in some other information about Chase Connor Books for a little razzle-dazzle. Hopefully, we’ll all feel caught up by the end of this newsletter and be looking forward to lots of exciting stuff coming in the future.

GHOST IN THE CUPBOARD (SILAS ERIE PARANORMAL COZY #1) was #1 in LGBTQ+ Mystery on Amazon during its opening weekend! It received the “Top New Release” orange badge! I want to thank all of the readers for giving this little cozy their time and attention. Without all of you and your voracious appetites for LGBTQIA books, spending all of my time working on outlines, writing, marketing and promoting would seem insurmountable. So, thank you all once again.

They plan to see a special show by the regionally famous Bang Bang Baisemoi, and have a little time together after their previous investigation. I wanted to drop a quick note to all of the readers who take time out of their lives to send me lovely messages and emails. Your thoughts and messages are so special to me and make me want to write faster and better for all of you!

However, I wanted to make sure everyone was aware that I check my Chase Connor Books email once every 3-5 days –I try not to make my life about the internet and social media for obvious reasons — so I might not respond as quickly as you’d expect or want.

Regardless, I want you all to know that you WILL get a response. I look forward to reading your emails and DMs and will definitely respond as my schedule allows. Also, make sure you are giving yourself breaks from the internet during these trying times. It’s integral for your mental health!

One last thing I’d like to include in this email is an update about what I’m currently working on (that isn’t one of my cozy series).

Presently, I’m working on a novel about the best summer a trio of friend spent together, the memories of which are shrouded in the unsolved murder of one’s stepfather.

Additionally, I’m working on a novel about a father/son entertainer duo and their rise, fall, and reascendance, to fame.

I’m still working on the novel A BOY CALLED NEVER — and it feels like I’ll NEVER get it finished (see what I did there?)!

A magical-realism novel that takes place in a small diner in a quirky out-of-the-way town where miracles might be possible is in the works.

A standalone novel for the character Bang Bang Baisemoi and…

Another novel about a pair of friends who spend their time fighting zombies, the plague, fighting in a world war, and all the best ways to die.

Yes. I’m always coming up with something new and jumping around. Stay tuned for any future news about these books!
