Today’s blog post isn’t really a blog post, I suppose. It’s more like a long-form “Chase’s Diary” entry. Just a little “here’s what’s happened, what’s happening, and what’s to come.”
May was an exciting month for me! Hopefully, it was for all of you, too!
MURDER AT THE RED ROOSTER TAVERN (A Point Worth LGBTQ Paranormal Romance Book 7) was released on May 7th. I’ve already had numerous people ask me: “what the hell is actually going on???” Which is always fun for my evil little soul. Honestly, I’m kind of shocked that no one has figured it out yet. Or maybe they have and those are the people who haven’t chewed me a new butthole? Regardless, I can’t wait until Book 8 (MURDER AT THE DIME A DOZEN) comes out and everyone reads the first chapter. That will answer ALL of your questions. Tee hee.
On May 18th–in the last blog post–I released A SPECIES OF SPECIAL CONCERN, a FREE follow-up story to A SURPLUS OF LIGHT. So far, that has received a warm welcome. Hopefully, for my reader-friends who have been with me for 3 years, it was a nice treat.
Next month, PRIDE is coming. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, my friends! Pride Month always makes me happy, even though I wish there wasn’t a need for such a thing. I’m looking forward to a month of celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community, doing all the (socially responsible) activities, and just being my queer little self to the queerest I can be! I think I’ll celebrate with food (natch), outdoorsy stuff, lots of rainbows, and some queer literature.
How do you plan to celebrate?
Since PRIDE is next month, I don’t really have much planned as far as writing goes. Don’t expect any super exciting news from me during PRIDE. However…early July might bring some exciting news. Who’s to say?
I am putting together a Street Team currently, so maybe that’s a clue of what to expect…hmmmm?
